Terms of use
Last updated 18 October 2026
Who we are
Hectic is run by Loadout, owned by Hein, in Randburg, Johannesburg, South Africa. Contact: hein@loadoutmarketing.co.za. By using Hectic you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
Who can use Hectic
You must be 18 or older. Use your real name and an email address you control. You're responsible for what happens on your account, so keep your login codes to yourself.
Training is at your own risk
Workouts, timers, rest times, suggestions and scores in Hectic are general information, not medical or professional advice. Check with a doctor before starting a new kind of training, listen to your body, and stop if something hurts. As far as the law allows, Hectic isn't responsible for injuries from training. This doesn't limit any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act.
Play fair
- Log what you really did. Scores that are clearly fake can be removed, and accounts that keep cheating can be closed.
- Don't post anything rude, hateful, illegal or someone else's private information.
- Don't try to break, overload or get around Hectic's security.
Gyms, owners and coaches
Gym owners register their gym and decide who coaches there. Hectic checks that a gym is real before it goes live. Owners and coaches may use their members' details only to run their gym, not for unrelated marketing.
Events
Events are run by their organisers, not by Hectic. Hectic checks events before they go live, but the organiser is responsible for the event, its safety, and any entry fees, refunds and results. When you enter, the organiser receives your name, email and division. Payments for entries go directly to the organiser.
Your content
What you log stays yours. You let Hectic store and show it as the app is designed to (for example your score on your gym's board). Delete it any time.
Changes and availability
Hectic is still growing. Features may change, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app first. You can stop using Hectic and delete your account at any time.
Law
These terms are governed by South African law.
